This site was first launched in December of 1999 and, through the contributions of many shipmates, continued to grow in a somewhat haphazard manner over the years. It is now being redesigned in December 2000 to accommodate all the new material being sent and, hopefully to organize it in a more logical manner. A special thanks to Bryant "Skinny" Fleming (vj-1@webtv.net) who's encouragement and support through the volumes of material he provided , his Navy contacts, and promotion of the site really provided a solid foundation for it's growth. As "Skinny" likes to say:
